I'm using my "new" Airstream travel trailer studio. I debated for quite awhile whether to paint, decorate (the whole nine yards) or just start using it. I googled a million Airstream pictures and even collected paint chips. Thinking of the money I'd spend to do it "right" I decided to use those funds for metalworking equipment.

So Bob & I ripped out the old gaucho bed frame and put in a work table. This has become the assembling location.

The metal working station will be in the front (tongue end) of the trailer. I already have my drill press and buffing wheel set up. Waiting for the rest of my bench tools to arrive so I can get things in order.

Just recovering from a stinkin' cold. This is Florida but it was uncharacteristically cold last week; lows in the 20's and 30's. Not a good time to get sick. So I've spent most of my time in bed sleeping. Today I ventured out and feel pretty good. So I guess I'm off to work tomorrow.

Wednesday is a baby shower at work and I really feel that I'd like to make a 'mommy' gift instead of a baby gift. Tonite and tomorrow nite I'll be putting something together from all my "goodies." I'll post a picture when it is finished.

Re-acquainted Myself

Today I re-acquainted myself with Etsy and my photo software, Photo Impact. The goal today was just to get listing up on etsy.com. The pictures could be better and I wanted to do some links here to different things; doll construction, jewelry sites. But I'm happy that I did something! As I continue to list things I'll get better.

I've got a long list of items to post on ebay also. I think I'll finish listings on etsy first. That way I'll get used to the process I've developed to describe item, tweek/size the photos, and then upload the item.

How easy it is to get sidetracked! As a follow up to my art exhibit posting, here is a picture of the "event".

Now it's back to jewelry making and listing items on etsy.
